Mr. Connelly has been gardening using the Square Foot Method for over 20 years and volunteering with the Prairie Partners Master Gardeners for 4. He will be speaking on the basics of this system, the benefits of the Square Foot Method, and how to design a garden specific to your needs.

Growing Hardy Roses

Afraid of roses? Don’t be. Lori will introduce you to the ease of growing hardy roses in our climate. She will show you how to choose, plant, and care for these beautiful underused plants. Lori has been a Master Gardener since 2008, she is President and Charter Member of Hardy Rosarians of South Dakota and was instrumental in designing the rose display beds at the Kuhenert Arboretum. Lori, her husband, and two sons live in Mobridge SD.
