Boys and Girls Club
Since 2022, Aberdeen Home Builders has had the privilege of partnering with the Aberdeen Area Boys and Girls Club, specifically focusing on the club's teen center. This collaboration has been an incredible journey filled with enriching experiences for both the teens and our team.
Our primary goal has been to educate and inspire the next generation about the value and use of tools. We've designed engaging sessions where teens not only learn how various tools function but also get hands-on experience creating their own projects. These practical sessions have included a variety of fun and useful activities. From building their own tic-tac-toe boards to crafting corn hole boards and mailbox holders, the teens have had the chance to explore their creativity and develop new skills. Currently, they are working on an exciting project: creating little libraries that will serve the community and foster a love for reading.
The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the teens have been truly inspiring, and we’ve had an absolute blast working with them. The sense of accomplishment they feel when they complete a project is incredibly rewarding to witness.
We believe that such initiatives are crucial in building a strong community, and we are always looking to expand our reach.
